About CCC
Where does CCC work?
CCC works across the UK. We are based in Wales, but have worked with organisations in England and Scotland, offering advice, partnership and guidance to companies, charities, educational establishments and individuals.
How is CCC different from other EDI companies?
We are a small company, determined to help those who need it most. Our consultants are excellent connectors, as all of us have at least one protected characteristic, we use our lived experiences for the best outcomes. We have all felt the pain of workplace discrimination and discrimination as a customer or service user. The CCC team uses these experiences to make a difference for your business. We care, and we will help you to show that you do, too.
Who does CCC work with?
CCC will work with any business looking to build a more inclusive culture. We work with micro companies right up to international groups. Our experience spans educational environments, public, private and voluntary sector organisations, as well as offering one-to-one support to individuals. Take a look at our 'About Us' page to see the sectors we have worked with.
Does CCC offer any free services?
We offer our first 30 - 45 minute call free of charge, to allow both you to see if CCC is the right fit for your needs, and for our consultants to understand what you are looking for from us. We provide a written quote to you, detailing how CCC will meet your requirements and the amount we will charge.

General Queries
What does EDI / DEI stand for?
DEI stands for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This is the phrase more commonly known in the United States of America.
EDI stands for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. CCC works in this order; ensure that everyone has equitable access, bring in the diversity, and create inclusion.
What is EDI?
EDI stands for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. These three letters are the 'buzz' words of the moment. At CCC, we know that equality is only the first step. We take an equity approach, aiming to eliminate barriers through social justice. Our ethics mean we put our attention into each protected characteristic, as we recognise the difference in experiences from one person to the next. By focusing on the unique experiences and their link to each characteristic, our approach makes for more meaningful results.
What level of EDI knowledge does CCC cater to?
We pride ourselves on being able to work with any level of knowledge. CCC knows how daunting the area of EDI can be for people, not wanting to cause offense or having a reluctance to engage with equality initiatives and therefore avoiding the topic wherever possible. Our consultants are able to meet people where they are - whether that is at the start of their learning, or if you have been working in the equality space for a while, the CCC team will be able to boost your versatility in inclusive practices.
Is EDI / DEI discrimination?

There are a some people who feel that equity work is unfair as it provides extra support to some people but not to others. However, equity is giving support that is equal to an individual's needs. For example, if a person is short-sighted, they may wear glasses. This is an example of equity: where you not everyone needs glasses, but it is essential for others to go about their daily lives. Understanding the realities of others is crucial to seeing why EDI is needed in our society. Arrange your free introduction meeting to learn more.
